Kill-Mart

Loved the Department store theme. From clothing to, appliances, to lawn and garden.
Key Room: Gross

Carnevil

This haunt was very bright, day-glow, rainbows. Not a lot of scare factor. I was hoping that the actors would make up for the brightness with some good scares, but they didn’t.

Board to Death

The deck of cards and the chess room are creepy! Candyland actors were Great!

Delta Delta Die

The gals down at Delta Delta Die did not disappoint. From the binge puking to the Molly Raves they were soooo awwsome!
Couple of good visuals in there as well (including the girls!) Apparently all the hot chicks are hitting the books this year. If you are looking for them at Club Blood they aren’t there.
Key Room: Worth the $. I loved that they screened us with “If you have diabetes you don’t have to participate”

Club Blood

I felt sorry for the people waiting in line for this one.
I’m not sure if we caught the haunt when many of the actors were on break? I walked through 4 of 10 rooms where I didn’t even see an actor.
However if you are into really hot GUYS…this is the haunt for you!

Cornstalkers

Overall a good haunt. The height of the cornstalks, the smell of the cornstalks and the smoke effects combined for a very creepy haunt with lots of places for actors to spring from.

Madam Fatale’s Cavern of Terror

The scene and the giant animatronic while waiting in line is awesome. This haunt had a couple of “scares from above” which is one thing I am always looking for.
Key Room: Worth it! Watch out for things that slither!

As you leave the haunt make sure you slow down and watch the diamondback roller coaster fall straight down at you on its first hill.

Slaughter House Reloaded

I look forward to the Slaughter house every year!
The haunt is still its great gory self but its new location seems smaller. The actors in this one were amped up and ready to rock!
Key Room: 2nd best overall in the park. By just a hair, the actors in this key room, lost out to Larry at Urgent Scare.

Urgent Scare

Every year I come to this haunt it gets smellier. I could still smell this haunt the next day. Im creeped out by hospitals anyway…so this haunt gets me.
I wonder if Kings Island got sued for scaring people from above because 3 or 4 years ago there was a guy that was on a bungee cord that dropped from the ceiling….he’s been absent for some time now…BRING HIM BACK!!

Key Room: Larry ooooh Larr Bear! Are you looking at his monkey? This guy brought the house down. Best Actor in the entire park! Well worth the price of admission. Admission….hospital get it?

Tombstone Terror-tory

This is the first time I have been through this haunt. The train ride is awesome! I love that it comes back empty! The haunt itself however is a little lack luster. Being primarily on a fenced in pathway it is not hard to determine where the scares are coming from. Not worth the wait in line.

Wolf Pack

Every person in this haunt was a wolf. Hence the name. If you are weirded out by wolves this will bother you. If not…meh.
I will give it up for the actors of this one, however. They knew they didn’t have much to work with so they amped it up! Good work.

Overallk

Overall: I fully endorse the Kings Island Haunt! When the weather is nice and still warm most of the rides are still going, which thins out the lines at the haunts. The fast pass is the way to go, otherwise you won’t be able to get through all the haunts. If you buy the fast pass then go ahead and buy the Key Rooms. You wont be disappointed.

Kill-Mart, Madame Fatale’s and Urgent Scare are the best overall haunts. Mid Grades: Slaughter House, Board to death, Delta Delta Die, Cornstalkers, Wolf Pack. Only if you have time: Carnevil, Tombstone Terror-tory, Club Blood.

The rest of park is lively. Actors wandering around scaring you. Watch out for the Droogs!

Tons of fake smoke.
If you ride any of the rides it is cool to see how smokey the park and the parking lot get.
